Alison Wright, an English actress. She received Emmy awards in the year 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of FX's historical spy series The Americans. Her other acting credits are The Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright who was adopted by her parents was born in Sunderland in the year 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group, both located in New York City. The waitressing gig was cut short through auditions for different roles. She went diving at sea - a hobby of hers - she was struck by a heart attack that left her a victim with a condition that was like being in a condition known as a coma. She passed away peacefully just six days later, being surrounded by the affection of her family who had travelled to the hospital to be at her bedside.
